Winky

Winky and its "Winky Code" application allow players to develop their programming and robotics skills. They learn to code by taking on many challenges and can then play without a tablet. Sensors and effectors allow Winky to interact with the player and the environment around him.

Winky is an intelligent robot, who, through a series of apps, allows you to explore robotics and programming through games.

My role here was to completely revamp their Winky Code app. To do this, I designed a whole campaign worth of exercise based on the current programming cursus for children in schools.

This new app uses the robot as a medium to learn programming skills and solve problems for the in-game characters. Through these fun and educational challenges, children would improve their relationship with Winky and learn more about his world.

We divided the campaign in chapters we called Cities that focused each on a specific skill and allowed the player to explore and perfect it before going on.
